Ananse Mentorship Program is a venture created to facilitate the transitioning of university students into the world after school. The program seeks to establish a network to connect its students (mentees) to individuals/groups who are thriving in their respective careers (mentors) for their career and professional development.

This program has assisted me to discover more about the professional world in my field of study. I have enjoyed my sessions with my mentor where I have learnt more about the field and opportunities out there both in academia and industry. This has encouraged me to plan for my future.
I have never regretted joining the Ananse Mentorship Programme. My mentor, Selorm Avoke, has been very helpful and has taught me a lot in the software industry and the software engineering job market, especially that of Ghana and outside of it and the disparities between them.
This program has helped me to be more open about the other fields of computer engineering I was yet to explore. Thanks to my mentor and the training sessions we had, I’ve seen a different side of both hardware and software engineering and why it is necessary for me to be open minded
I am a biomedical engineering PhD student at Northwestern University with a keen interest in understanding how brain areas and muscles communicate to facilitate movement. When not doing PhD stuff, I’m mostly on a quest to bridge the opportunity gap that individuals in developing countries face.
I am an Engineering Analyst focused on building the next generation of trading systems. Prior to my professional career, I completed a BSc in Computer Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. I am particularly interested in mentorship and helping others to achieve their full potential.
I am an Engineering Associate working primarily as a Front-End Web Developer and a SIte Reliability Engineering Specialist. I hold a BSc in Computer Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. I am passionate about creating opportunities for the next generation of engineers.
